Community Outreach: A steering committee will raise funds for the project
through local donations and the solicitation of materials donations from
Ballston Spa businesses. Leaders are actively recruiting hundreds of volunteers
who will join in to construct the playground. So go out and spread the
word...and please DO direct interested donors to our website!
FANS Playground Construction Days Set! Save the Dates: The playground construction days have been
set for Tuesday, May 27 - Sunday, June 1, 2008. We'll need all hands (skilled
and unskilled) on deck to complete the playground. If you'd like to sign up for
volunteer shift, just let us know. Our volunteers will unite to turn mounds of materials into a
park paradise! They will share a unique volunteer experience as they eat, laugh
and erect Ballston Spa's one-of-a-kind community playground. If interested in
