It’s time to build Kids’ Creekside Village
at Kelley Park!

The playground will be built (from scratch) in an extraordinary 6 days and volunteer help is needed. “Build Week” is Tuesday, May 27 -Sunday, June 1 and is a once in a lifetime opportunity NOT to be missed.

FANs is looking for nearly 1000 volunteers of all skill levels (no building experience necessary) to help accomplish the build. Jobs include: framing decking, painting, sanding, tightening bolts, and more. Each day during the build there will be three different shifts: 8am – 12noon, 12:30 – 5pm and 5:30 – 9pm. Free meals will be provided each day and childcare for children out of diapers is available if needed. Children ages 14 and up are permitted to help with the build. Children ages 10 – 13 are also welcome to help alongside their parent or guardian.

Builders/Contractors Day: On Thursday, May 29th we plan to do the framing and decking for the playground components….if you have building skills, your help on this day is of particular importance.

UNION FIRE COMPANY TO HOST
CHILDRENS' HANDPRINT TILE WORKSHOP
FOR NEW PLAYGROUND!

Friends & Neighbors of Ballston Spa (FANS) is offering commemorative personalized TILES to raise money for the community-built playground.

The Union Fire Company is offering a “TILE WORKSHOP” on Saturday, 5/17 from 9:00 a.m to 3:00pm. Children can add their handprint and name to a tile that will be displayed in various locations around the playground. What a great way to capture a moment in time and be a lasting part of the Ballston Spa community!
